VIC:Police hunt for man with tomahawk
MELBOURNE, Dec 29 AAP - Police are searching for a blood-covered tomahawk-wielding
man seen roaming around the Southbank area near Melbourne's CBD.
The man is believed to have been involved in a brawl with several other people early
on Wednesday.
A police spokeswoman said police had received reports before 7am (AEDT) of a man carrying
a tomahawk and possibly covered in blood walking around Southbank at the Power Street
and Kavanagh Street intersection.
Police were looking for the man around the South Wharf area near the Yarra River, she told AAP.
