Fed: Modest tax cut could return 30,000 people to workforce

SYDNEY, Feb 27 AAP - A modest tax cut that returned voters to where they were four
years ago would reportedly create an incentive for 30,000 battlers to move from welfare
to work.

The Weekend Australian newspaper reported today research done for it by the Melbourne
Institute showed personal tax cuts amounting to $3.8 billion in bracket creep could create
as many as 80,000 extra jobs.
