State of affairs at 1400 across NSW as bushfires which broke out yesterday continue to rage:
NUMBER OF HOMES LOST
* 15 in Glenorie
* 5 in Nowra
* 2 at Alfords Point in the Sutherland Shire
* 1 at Sandy Point
* 1 at Picnic Point
* 1 at Wattle Grove.
INJURIES
* 3 firefighters wounded, two suffering fractured legs and another with lacerations to his hands.
* A 21-year-old man suffered burns to his face and hands trying to protect his home at Glenorie.
WORST-AFFECTED AREAS
* Glenorie, in Baulkham Hills district and the Holsworthy area.
AFFECTED AREAS
* Baulkham Hills, Blue Mountains, Cessnock/ Singleton district, Shoalhaven district,Eurobodalla district, Great Lakes - Bullahdellah and Gosford.
NUMBER OF FIRES
66, affecting more than 44,386 hectares across NSW.
NUMBER OF FIREFIGHTERS BATTLING FIRES
3,000.
